Controller for profit center with 27 countries, 40 distributors, 10 brands and more than 1000 products; Reporting, decision support for General Manager, contract negotiations, currency management, overhead control (8 Mio. € budget), advertising budget control (17 Mio. € budget), receivable control (20 Mio. €), books in 5 countries.

Turnover/Budget: Turnover in Nov. 1993 35 Mio. €, Sept. 1995 75 Mio. €
Projects: 1) Development and introduction of controlling tools. Results: Better decision making, new implementation strategy for initiatives.

2) Analysis of an own organization versus a distributor organization.

Result: Recommendation to stay with the distributor based on an improved long-term contract.

3) New contracts with Scandinavian & Benelux distributors. Result: Profit improves 2 Mio. $.

Salary: 55,000 €, pension plan
Direct reports: One direct report; from July 1994 on one manager and four clerks.
